In that election, a very controversial American politician and businessman, Donald Trump, was elected president. Although at this point there are still several areas of surprises and uncertainty in the coming months, it is prudent for us to re-examine our current policy towards the United States with a view to review and ultimately change it. This is because many of the US foreign policies, as proposed by the president elect favor US protectionism, appeal to the right, are very national istic and pose a high risk to trade wars. The rhetoric may be more subdued compared to the period during the campaigns, but his policies are most likely going to be more aligned to traditional Republican Party views, which in my opinion will not favor this country.[Schwartz, Nelson. Furthermore, in the fight against the Islamic State, the President elect has severally promised to work with Russia. There are three areas that in Mexico Foreign Policy that I suggest should be reviewed a nd ultimately changed to counter the US government possible changes on the same issues. * US trade partnerships with China TPP, and NAFTA * New alliances with Russia verses NATO * Terrorism around the world, particularly in the middle eastIn a book titled Superpower  by Ian Bremmer, a respected foreign policy analyst, there are only three options for the US to consider in its effort to develop a more coherent strategy, and strengthen the US commitment to trade and military partnerships.[Bremmer, Ian. 2015. New York: Portfolio/Penguin] These choices are: * Independent America: considerably reducing United States global commitments and instead focusing on nation building  * Money-ball America: Is a solution that relies on goldilocks  very similar to the type adopted by the Obama administration * Indispensable America: That the US is still a world leader and it is only Americans themselves who can defend their value s locally and abroad.The last option may not have any major implication on our foreign policy with the USIt is on the basis of the three issues and three options that I develop recommendations on the various aspects of the Mexico-US foreign policy that may need to be changed.US trade partnerships with China TPP, and NAFTAThroughout his campaigns and even after, US President-elect Donald Trump has made it clear that he is very uncomfortable with the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Of the three trade partnerships that Trump identifies has troublesome , the only one has direct implications on Mexico is NAFTA. He referred to it as the single worst trade deal ever approved in this country  during his first presidential debate. He has also vowed to impose 15-35% tariffs on US companies that move any of their operations to Mexico. This indicates the seriousness with which the president elect intents to renegotiate trade deals, in an effort provide US companies and wor kers better returns. This is still debatable. Since it was signed 22 years ago NAFTA has been a staple of North Americas economic relations because it helped in eliminating tariffs on products traded between Mexico, Canada and the US.[Bremmer, Ian. 2015. President Trump is expected to proceed and act on his promise to either pull out of it or re-negotiate. Given this scenario and possibility I suggest that we should demand for protection of agricultural crops to the US such as potatoes and an increase on United States import quotas particularly for Mexican sugar. Secondly, while renegotiating NAFTA, Mexico should demand for greater access of the U S market in other sectors not negotiated before, for example, the public-sector procurements that for a long time as been protected by US laws of Buy America .[Schwartz, Nelson. This can be done by liaising with US institutions that see this issue differently, such as the US Chamber of Commerce. The chamber, for a long time, has released yearly data detailing observation to the contrary. The chamber argues that the billions of dollars made by US companies by engaging cheaper Mexican labor has intern created over five million jobs in the United States. FORD one of the vehicle manufacturing companies mentioned by Trump as exporting jobs  to this country has since clarified that the money made from the cheap Mexican labor is used in the manufacture of more cars back in the US. So, the United States under President elect-Trump, seems to be having the wrong information. This is a line of argument that Mexico needs to take if it will be necessary for the NAFTA deals to be renegotiated. The US has not been supportive enough on these areas, yet they are the greatest beneficiaries. In addition, although the US is our largest trading partner taking about 80% of all the countrys exports, I strongly suggest that in any negotiations or renegotiations, our guiding principle should be to only enter into trade agreements if it reduces our trade deficit and increases total trade.Terrorism around the WorldThe greatest threat to European and US security currently is no longer Russia or Germany, as it was in the beginning and mid-20th century. That threat, as perceived by the president elect and many other Americans, has shifted to Mexico, China and the Middle East. Again, while announcing his candidacy for the US presidency, Donald Trump called for the development of a stronger bigger fortified wall along the US-Mexico border. However, its implications particularly on the people and wildlife are enormous. First, Mexico needs to lobby international nature and wildlife organization to help in appealing to the new US administration to avoid wildlife prohibitive fences in sections of the border that are rich in wildlife. This is because doing it as a country will only serve to further antagonize the US administration. Secondly, we as a country need to find lasting solutions to local issues that have major international implications. Inflation associated with the cost of higher education is now bordering on the ethical question, is a college education, a right or a privilege? With the ever increasing wage gap in America, the middle class and lower class find themselves struggling to gain a college degree. The addition of vinegar and cornstarch in making an alternative ink resulted a thicker consistency . We also had proven that without the vinegar, the alternative ink will be less seen. Findings: During the procedure itself, we have observed that boiling was an effective process of extraction. Right after we put the tea bags inside the boiling water, the changed- color was very noticeable. During that step, the smell from the tea was strong. While doing the steps, there was a change of color when we added the vinegar and the cornstarch. The vinegar’s effect was also seen when we tried it on a paper. Literature was highly inspired by the Holocaust and provides new scripts for authors on the positive and negative effect relationships play during intense trying times. The short novel Four Perfect Pebbles helped to compel the topic of relationships and their role during very trying times. Throughout the novel there were examples of the relationships shared to help families get through their hardships, until they made their way into safety, or met their untimely demise. Literary elements, plot and characterization and the wording of many of the events deeply express emotions that are being felt by each and every character. Four Perfect Pebbles is the memoir of Marion Blumenthal Lazan’s experience as a child during the holocaust. After Hitler rose to power the Blumenthal’s, a young Jewish family, where stuck in Nazi Germany despite their attempts to escape. When he became Chancellor, discrimination against Jews began to grow rapidly. The Blumenthal’s store was boycotted quickly. The relationship shared by Marion’s mom and dad had with their parents almost prevented them from being able to escape from the torture of Nazi Germany. In the fall of 1939 Westerbork, a permanent Jewish refugee camp was formed and in December the Blumenthal’s moved in. Marion had a very close relationship with her mother although they argued consistently. Their relationship help each other get through much of Nazi torment. Another relationship that helped Marion get through such torture and hardship was that of which she shared with her brother. Another relationship that held families together was food. Since the immense stress felt from being discriminated against based upon their religion, food was difficult to come by. Many family members would let another take their ration so they wouldn’t worry about eating later. Marion found four pebbles and gave three to her mother, father and her older brother. This was a way of always have them be able to be together (Perl). The novel Annexed also helped to compel the topic of relationships and their role during very trying times. Throughout the novel there were examples of how each of the relationships shared by each character was helpful for families to get through their hardships, until they made their way into safety, or met their untimely demise. Anne and Peter’s relationship begins to grow again as they experience even more traumatic events during the Holocaust. Although, peter has alone time, from Anne, at his work he never can get her out of his head. Peter began to feel even more pressure from Anne as they started to sleep together and Anne began to open up more and more. Anne and Peter’s relationship and attraction although growing reached rough spots at times. Peter’s relationship with Anne grows difficult because of the multiple personalities Anne shows while they are together. Peter’s also confused about his feelings with Margot (Dogar). The Holocaust has influenced, if not defined, nearly every Jewish writer since. Since the genre emerged, this has been the defining stance of Holocaust literature. Memoirs are surely part of this legacy. â€Å"Nights power isnt derived only from its harrowing story, but from its unflinching, deceptively plain delivery of that story, as well† (Kaiser). Many Holocaust works, like Night, have hit a perfect emotional pitch, or, notes of tragedy in an agonizingly effective arrangement. Many lost their faith in god and just waited for the end to come. Although they lost their faith, what did not die, however, is hope. The Holocaust exemplified the enormous evil humans can inflict one another. Until the Holocaust, the traditional view of God and his/her connection with Israel had remained intact: God was our Provider and Protector. This expectation carried the Jews through the failed Bar Kokhba revolt, the Crusades, repeated humiliations and expulsions, pogroms and myriad persecutions, even the Spanish Inquisition. Was God dead? Was God not watching, turning the other cheek? If he/she could not be counted on to live p to his/her reputation for mercy and intervene, what good was he? And if he/she did not intervene, by what reasoning did He merit our allegiance? This tremendous upset called into question whether the covenantwhat was supposed to be an eternal contract between God and Israelhad expired. There was no sense of order in the universe, no purpose in life, no hope for a better future, no meaning in past or present suffering, no need for Jews or Jewish life. This was exactly the conclusion desired by the Nazi Fascists, who had to eliminate belief in absolute Divine power. This was also exactly the response of many victims, for whom the covenant had been rendered null and void. They could not believe that God and the Holocausts degree of evil could coexist. They had no faith that such crimes would never again occur and feeling no hope in life, and expecting no meaning in death, saw no reason to perpetuate Judaism. To spare their descendants the horrors they had endured, they abandoned Judaism, sometimes converting and raising their children as non-Jews. Much of the former Jewish faith turned to Atheism to distance themselves from the lack of protection from their God. Religion attempts to make sense out of the world around us, finding order and meaning in what often seems chaotic and meaningless. The holocaust had a major role in changing the literature many authors used dealing with relationships. Would your relations withstand the immense torture put forth during the Holocaust? Although an unbearable and demonic time period of WWII the holocaust proved to be one of the most important successes in history for literature and to strengthen the global community.
